Autumn Online Workshop
The season of autumn is one of harvest and celebration, but it also denotes the beginning of the darker half of the year. During this time, accounting and preparing for the times gone and ahead, as well as honoring one’s beloved dead are powerful practices rooted in breath, body, and bones. We honor and continue this tradition as we create a space for those curious about these ancestral practices.
In this two-hour recorded gathering, we will explore both Autumn celebration days in the Wheel of the Year: Mabon and Samhain. We will briefly discuss the history of each before we deepen into conversations around practices which honor the experience of death and grief on Mabon and restore our connection to our ancestral lines on Samhain.
This online gathering space is a brief introduction to non-appropriative spiritual practices for folks of Northwestern European ancestry. You will receive a downloadable PDF containing links to access the recording, a short written introduction to the history and celebrations, and 40+ resources for further exploration.
